Elizabeth I personality type is INTJ,” as well as “Queen Elizabeth II personality type is INTJ.”

What these discussions quickly reveal, however, is that there’s a growing recognition that the queen’s personality is not an officially recognized type.

“The [INTJ] is common in the British royal family, but it’s not recognized officially,” says David Caruso, the author of The INTJ: From Myth to Science.

For that reason, it’s hard to know exactly how to categorize the queen. As we all know, there are no official personality types in psychology. Nevertheless, the INTJ personality type is one that’s often associated with high intelligence and an independent, self-driven nature.

It’s also a type that doesn’t always describe people as a whole. “The INTJ personality is about introversion and extraversion when it comes to people who are operating in a group setting,” Caruso says.

For instance, the queen’s recent visit to the U.S. was an example of this.
