Kakiguchi Yori personality type is ISTJ, which makes sense given that he is the oldest of the group, and is depicted as being the most mature in the group. He's also the one with the most knowledge of the world outside of school, and at some point in the anime, he appears to have been the only member of the group who was aware of the events surrounding them. While he's not a natural leader (as shown by Kouga's refusal to follow any leadership from him) he is at least tactically aware, and has proven himself capable in combat situations.
In addition to Shadow Imitation, Kakiguchi is capable of using his shikigami to a limited extent for a variety of purposes, including concealing his presence from others, or allowing him to phase through objects.
Even without his Shadow Imitation abilities, there's no way to tell how much power Kakiguchi possesses. His level of skill and knowledge of fighting techniques could be higher if he'd had time to learn them properly, and it's possible that Shadow Imitation allows him to draw on his own inherent fighting prowess.
