Also, there is a misunderstanding that every top-laner needs to have a good early game. The truth is not. In the past, I always thought that if I could finish my opponent before level 6, I would be able to snowball and win the lane. However, I eventually realized that unless I get some advantages in the early game, I would lose later on.
I am not saying that you shouldn't aim for early kills. Sometimes, it's okay to go all-in in lane if you know you can snowball your lead. However, you shouldn't go all-in if you think you can't get a kill or get some advantages in the early game. This is important because if you do this, you will probably lose the lane as soon as level 6 hits.
