Ling Mo personality type is INFP, which is a rare personality type in China, and is very rare in America. I have friends that are INFP in China.
I don't think that he's a fucking narcissist person. He's just a calm, thinking guy who has a strong sense of values. Doesn't mean he's not narcissistic. I get the feeling that he's a bit more narcissistic than most people, which may explain why he's been able to keep up his strength for so long.
As for the "hurry up and wait" thing, I'm sure he just means that he knows he has the upper hand in their relationship. He's got many advantages while Ling Mo doesn't. He's stronger than Ling Mo in terms of physical strength, speed, and stamina, but Ling Mo has more than enough to counter his advantages. He manages to keep everyone focused on him, but everyone does it out of fear and respect for his strong personality.
In short, I think that he just holds the upper hand because of his personality.

Lingmoo is a village in South District of Sikkim, India. It is 50.4 km from Gangtok, capital of Sikkim. It falls under Ravangla sub-division.
