Last year, I was fortunate enough to be involved in the Engineering Society at the University of Waterloo (The Engineering Students' Society), which is the student society for all engineering students at the University of Waterloo. During my time here, I was lucky enough to participate in several events, give many speeches, and meet many people both here and at other universities across Canada. One of the amazing experiences that I was able to partake in was the first-ever Engineering Showcase at Waterloo, which was an event hosted by the Engineering Society that brought together over 200 engineering students from across Canada to showcase their work. This event was so successful that it was decided to do it again this year.
