John Rocker personality type is ESTP, which is also referred to as the "Action-Speak" type. ESTPs are very direct, decisive, and forceful. They tend to be quite self-confident and take an active approach to life. They tend to be impatient and act first, think later. While they are often very good at getting things done, they also tend to become irritated if other people take too long to decide what to do.

ESTPs are natural leaders. They are good at visualizing what needs to be done and coming up with creative approaches to accomplish tasks. When working or playing with other people, they are likely to become the leader. They are also very good at coming up with new ideas and at organizing and planning things in a way that others can easily follow and enjoy.

ESTPs often like to be the center of attention — in a good way — and they will often try to make others feel comfortable and at ease in their presence. When they are dealing with people they don't know well, ESTPs can appear to be rather abrupt and direct in their approach. However, once they get to know someone, they will often warm up and become more open and friendly.
