My foundation is based on a combination of MBTI, and an old favorite called MYERS-BRIGGS. For example, I use the Myers Briggs type for this blog, so when I write about topics like marketing, I have a framework to make sure I'm not just being a random person on the internet.
The Myers Briggs is a very simple and easy to understand way to understand people. It's based on four letters, instead of the 7 letters of the MBTI. The first letter is your dominant trait (your personality type) and the second letter is your auxiliary trait (your personality type's opposite).
For example, if you are an ENFP, your dominant trait is Extraversion (E) and your auxiliary trait is Introversion (I). Since every person is an ENFP, this means that we get a score of either +2, +1, -1 or -2 for our Myers Briggs scores.
