I am not afraid anymore to be myself. I used to feel like I wasn't good enough. Not good enough to get the job done. Not good enough to be who I am. But I realized that my purpose is bigger than my own self-worth. And I realized that my depression was holding me back from being who I needed to be for myself, my family, and my friends.
I want to be happy for myself. I want to be happy for the people around me. I want to be happy for the ones that love me. Because it's not about being happy for me anymore, it's about being happy for them. I have come to realize that my depression isn't something that is mine or mine alone.
