Vic personality type is ISFP, in that he’s blunt, honest and impulsive. But he’s also very creative and a great listener.
In the end, I realized that my main problem with the movie was it was too easy. In the book, I remember getting frustrated because it took so long for things to happen. It was like, okay, now we’re going to really kick this into gear. And then it didn’t.
The movie felt too easy, too slow. It was like, okay, we’re going to go on this journey, and we’re going to do it quickly. Instead of doing it slowly and letting you feel it and let your heart break over it. And in the end, that’s what I wanted. I wanted a slow burn that would make you cry and feel like you were going on this journey with them.
I had a lot of opinions about it, but I felt like the book would have been better if they had left out some of the stuff in the beginning [laughs].
