Shin Sang personality type is ESFP, I’ll go with the more common type of ESFP here. In terms of personality type, he’s a pretty cool dude.
In terms of character design, Sang is a complete midwesterner. He’s very comfortable with himself, but he’s also very conscious of not being a really big deal. He has a somewhat lofty sense of his own importance, but he’s more interested in playing a role than being a real life personality. He’s a very calm and collected personality type, and he seems to have a good grasp on reality.
He’s also very blunt and honest, which is what makes him really uncomfortable when he’s forced into situations that don’t suit his real feelings. Having to play multiple roles (he even admits that he’s playing multiple roles in the beginning of the game) is not easy for him. I think Sang is much more comfortable in laid back environments, where he can be himself.
He seems like a much more realistic person than the other characters, probably because he doesn’t really play pretend like the other characters do.
