Yang Ho-Beom personality type is ESTP, which is the first type that is typed based on the Jungian typology system developed by Carl Jung.
The Jungian typing system classifies types into three sets, called "triads" (see below). The first type within each triad ("E" for extrovert, "S" for introvert) is classified as an acronym based on the dominant functions. Each type has four sub-types, which are defined by the auxiliary functions. Jung classified the types into these four sub-types based on how they related to the other types within the same triad. For example, "T" for extrovert relates to "I" for introvert, which relates to "P" for perceiver. When Jung developed his typing system, he was aware that the four sub-types would later be split into two sub-types within each type, because of their different functions.
Jung also referred to the four sub-types as "function groups". Later, this became referred to as the "four temperaments".
