An INFJ with a mental illness is a rare occurrence.
I know there are a lot of INFJs out there who have been struggling with mental illness and I'm so sorry. I know it's difficult to talk about it because it's taboo, there's so much stigma attached to it. In addition to that, INFJs can be extremely sensitive and we don't like to "burden" or "disturb" anyone else, we don't like to draw attention to ourselves and we tend to be exceptionally private and quiet. We also tend to suffer in silence and we don't talk about it with others who we see on a regular basis (family, friends, coworkers), even INFJs who often struggle with this issue rarely seek out help.
It's not something we like to talk about. And even when we do, we usually get shot down by others who claim there's nothing wrong with us and we're imagining things. It's like they're saying "you're crazy" and we're the ones who need the help.
