I thought Venusaur's evolution line was in the anime? Also what really proves that it is Venusaur or just a Pokeball-encased plant-like Pokemon is that Venusaur does not have the trademark Pokéball on its back like all other Pokemon do. --Tuppence 21:40, 21 September 2012 (UTC) Yes, Venusaur's evolved form is shown in the anime.
