I’m a relatively new INFJ. I’ve been an INFJ for about 2 years. I don’t have a lot of experience with other types so I don’t have much to say as far as what I think it is like to be an INFJ.
I think INFJs are so mysterious because the function they use the least is introverted thinking. We are not good at socializing and we tend to be a little self-centered. This is why we tend to be misunderstood by the world around us.
If you take a bunch of people and ask them to describe an INFJ then you will get a bunch of different answers. Some of them will say they are introverted, others will say they are extroverted, some will say they are quiet, others will say they are talkative, some will say they are the most intelligent person they know. Only if you ask them to describe an INFJ can you get a single response that makes sense.
