Extraversion is divided in to introverted and extraverted.
Extraversion
Extraversion forms the basis of the dominant function, which is the dominant function when it is in full flow with its own primary function-attitude. We are all extraverted to some degree, but the degree varies significantly from person to person. The more extraversion that is present in a person, the more they are likely to make use of their dominant function, which is extraverted. This is because the dominant function is their preferred approach to living in the world.
Introversion
Introversion forms the basis of the secondary function, which is the second most important function when it is in full flow with its own primary function-attitude.
