Mr. Strong personality type is ESTP, and so this one is particularly difficult for him. He needs to learn to be more tolerant of others, and to realize that they are not there to do his bidding. He needs to also realize that they are people, and that they have their own likes and dislikes.
In order to be more comfortable with himself, he needs to learn to get rid of his need to control. "I don't want people to do things for me, I want to do things for them."
He also needs to be more accepting of the fact that everyone does not have his interests in mind. For instance, if he were eating a hamburger and a ketchup bottle was in front of him, he would put it on his burger rather than to put it out of the way. This is because he has an extraverted thinking (Te) code of ethics, which dictates that he should use things. He needs to understand that not everyone has the same code of ethics as he does.
He needs to understand that his mother has needs and wants, too, and that she is not there to do his bidding. He needs to realize that although she may have her own needs and wants, they are not his.
