The prophet Haggai predicted that the people would regain the Holy Land, through God’s power. He showed his people that they had lost hope, and needed God's help to regain their land and freedom. He urged them to put their trust in God, so that they would have victory over their enemies. He told them that his generation was capable of building the Temple, and that it could be finished in three years.
Haggai was a Hebrew prophet during the building of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, and one of the twelve minor prophets in the Hebrew Bible and the author of the Book of Haggai. He is known for his prophecy in 520 BCE, commanding the Jews to rebuild the Temple.
