In short, he wants to be President because he thinks that the US is not doing enough to help the world and make it a better place, and he wants to make the world a better place by taking the US and making it more like his ideal world. He’s a bit too idealistic, and he’s not exactly trying to solve the real problems of the world. He’s also not necessarily making rational arguments that can be disproved by anyone.
