Finnian (Finny) personality type is ENFP, and I’m an ENFP. (I’m not an INFJ or INFP though, and I think that the “Finnian” personality type is a lot more accurate than the “Finn” personality type.) As an INFJ, I’m used to being a perfectionist and having a lot of ideas. (And, in fact, I’m rather arrogant and quite high-functioning, and I like to think of myself as a bit of an expert.) But I also know that the INFJ personality type is not very well-known in the world — we’re seen as more extroverted than introverted (and therefore less introspective than extraverted), and we’re seen as more intuitive than perceiving. So I’m very excited that this new book has been written about the INFJ personality type, because it will help bring INFJs out of the shadows.
When I was first figuring out my personality type (like six years ago), I started off with the INFJ personality type, but then I realized that it wasn’t really appropriate for me, because INFJs are known for their intuition.
