Rapper sKitz Kraven (aka Evan D. Kijek) is a darkly charismatic MC with a horrorcore aesthetic and a flow rife with lurid, raunchy lyrics and a macabre sense of humor. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1994, Kraven was interested in music from a young age and began picking up instruments from the age of four, eventually learning piano and drums. However, it was his love of rap music that focused his attention in high school, during which time he toiled with addiction, along with various emotional, mental, and behavioral problems. He started writing as a form of personal therapy, crafting his poems into raps about his life. Drawing upon a mix of hip-hop influences as well as horror and slasher films, Kraven began performing around the city. At 19 he relocated to Los Angeles, where his wild style drew ears and found him sharing the stage with Juicy J, Waka Flocka Flame, Ice Cube, Yelawolf, and others.
