Don Dokken personality type is ENFJ, and I’m an ENTJ. So, I can’t help but think that this decision is ENTJ-driven. And if it’s not, then I’m sorry that I needed to write this piece.
As fans of the band, we’ve seen the Dokken/Don Dokken saga unfold over the years. The original lineup split up in 1986. A few years later, they reunited. The reunion didn’t last long. The end came in 1996, when Don left the band for good.
Then, in 2011, the Dokken reunion happened. This time it lasted until 2016. Last year, Don announced that he was leaving the band again. Despite the fact that they’ve had this “new era” since 2011, Don says he’s leaving the band again.
Now, before you start thinking that this is some sort of ENTJ vs. ENFJ issue, let me explain the reasoning behind why I believe that is not the case.
ENTJs are known for being ambitious and driven individuals who have strong opinions about things.
