What is the personality type of Matt Holt? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Matt Holt from Hard Rock & Heavy Metal and what is the personality traits.
Matt Holt personality type is ISTP, which makes him a natural born leader. While his dominant function is Extraverted Sensing (Se), his second function is Introverted Thinking (Ti). I’m not sure if we see more ISTPs or ISFPs (especially those who are introverted and sensing only) in the Church, but I know that ISTPs make up a large percentage of the leadership and senior management of many churches. This is because ISTPs are comfortable with leading and making decisions. They don’t feel as much pressure as those with Introverted Feeling (Fi) as they don’t worry about what others think. I’m not saying ISTPs are perfect nor are they perfect for everyone. They can be too direct or too “uncomfortable” with everyone else’s feelings, which might cause some to question their leadership skills and motives. For those who don’t like to question someone’s motives, this may be a positive attribute. However, those who ask questions or want to feel others’ emotions will have an uphill battle in working with an ISTP in leadership roles.
