“I’m not a perfect type,” Mrs. Gardner admits, “but I have a strong preference for being alone. Once I have gotten my work done for the day, I like to pull out my laptop and go to work on it some more. When I am working on my computer, I am usually so involved in my work that I am generally oblivious to everyone else.”
Mrs. Gardner is an artist, although she has never had formal art training. She sketches little stick figures with big, round eyes. She loves to draw, but it is purely for her own enjoyment. Mrs. Gardner says that she remembers when she first started drawing stick figures as a child. She liked the way they looked so much that she kept on practicing until she could draw stick figures better than anyone else in her class at school!
