What is the personality type of Andrew McMahon? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Andrew McMahon from Alternative Punk & New Wave and what is the personality traits.
Andrew McMahon personality type is ENFJ, and I’d say he has a very good grasp on the ENFJ’s drive to move people and their own personal ideas to the forefront. But I’d say he’s also a bit of an attention whore and needs to be careful not to get so wrapped up in his own ideas that he loses sight of what he’s trying to accomplish. He has a healthy amount of social confidence that allows him to be a bit more outspoken and ambitious, but also a healthy amount of insecurity that keeps him from getting too big for his britches.
For a little more on the ENFJ’s drive to move people, check out this video from The Myers-Briggs Company:
In the ENFJ’s case, I think it’s very useful for them to have a mentor, but I don’t think it’s as useful as for the other types. This is because the ENFJ is not only driven to move people, but also driven to have their ideas move people – and that concept can require a rather massive leap of faith.
