This famous rock star was born on September 7, 1948. He grew up in a poor family and received a high school education, which was not very good. He started playing blues and rock & roll music at an early age and learned to play guitar on a Sears Roebuck acoustic guitar.
Before he could ever make music his bread and butter, he married his high school sweetheart Edith, who was pregnant with his first child, at age 20. Although it took him two years to finish school, he got through it with the help of his wife's family's support. Eddie's first album, the self-titled Eddie Money, was released in 1975.
