    In February 1999, the band were dropped from EMI Records' roster after a dispute over the release of a greatest hits compilation, and went on to release a new album, "A Short Album About Love", on Sanctuary Records. In 2001, "A Short Album About Love" was re-released with a bonus disc called "The Complete Studio Recordings". The re-release coincided with the announcement of the Greatest Hits album that would be released a few months later. On 1 June 2004, the band released a boxset of all three studio albums entitled "The Complete Studio Recordings" on the Sanctuary Records label. In 2005, the band performed a special one-off show at the Royal Albert Hall, performing all their favourite songs from every album they have ever recorded. In January 2006, the band announced that they had been dropped from Sanctuary Records after nearly thirty years with them. In 2008, they released "The Platinum Collection", a retrospective box set containing all of the band's studio albums, available for download from their website. In 2010, the band released a live album culled from a live show at the Brixton Academy.

    Ronald David Wood (born 1 June 1947) is an English rock musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, artist, author and radio personality best known as a member of The Rolling Stones since 1975, as well as a member of Faces and the Jeff Beck Group. Wood began his career in 1964, when he joined The Birds on guitar.[1] He then joined the mod group The Creation, but remained with the group only for a short time and appeared on a small number of singles. Wood joined the Jeff Beck Group in 1967 as a bass player. The band released two albums, Truth and Beck-Ola, which became moderate successes
