My favorite Pixar movie is The Incredibles. It was the first movie I saw in the theater as an adult, and I still think it’s the best. The characters are so well-developed I can never stop thinking about them, and the plot is so intricate and well-thought-out that I don’t even care that it ends with a happy ending. I’ve watched the movie a lot, and have it on my phone, iPad, and DVD. I know every line of dialogue by heart. Pixar movies aren’t just fun to watch, they’re a way for me to process my feelings. The Incredibles movie is a perfect example of this. Brad Bird has a super-intense writing style, but he balances it out with a great sense of humor and a realistic narrative.
In the movie, Mr. Incredible leaves home to solve a crisis at a children’s hospital, and Elastigirl follows him there.
