Gabby Gabby personality type is ESFJ, so they are definitely my go-to for advice. I've had these conversations with them before where I feel like they are listening to me but that they don't actually want to hear what I'm saying. I've also had the opposite experience with my best friend. Before, I was always asking her what she thought about something and she would always tell me what she thought. Now, she'll do the same thing but she doesn't tell me what she thinks. It feels like she's trying to take care of me and that's why she's not telling me what she thinks. I've also had a conversation with a friend where I was telling them how I felt about her, and she wouldn't respond. She was upset at me for "hurting her feelings." But at the same time, she didn't take the time to listen to what I was saying. She was too busy trying to make sure I knew that I hurt her feelings. It's confusing because she's trying to be sensitive and understanding, but at the same time, it feels like she doesn't want to listen.
