Terry Bozzio personality type is ISTP, according to the MBTI test. That means that his personal style is Introverted Thinking, Sensing, and Perceiving. To use a dirty phrase, he’s a turkey. He’s always thinking about something else, and he’s not interested in other people. If he has his way, he won’t talk to you for a week.
He’s a very intense guy, even though he doesn’t seem all that intense. He’s quiet and intense. He’s intense about his music, intense about his drumming, intense about his band, intense about his work. He’s intense about the way he lives his life. He’s not like one of those rock stars who gets out of prison and goes back to the music business. He doesn’t go back to the music business at all; he’s completely done with all that.
He was born in the Bronx. His dad was an Italian guy who wore glasses and drove a delivery truck. His mom was a housewife. His family treated him like any other kid growing up in the Bronx, but he had an artistic inclination from early on.
