If there's a conflict between who you are and what you think you should be, it's always better to listen to what "I" wants to do instead of what you think you should do. If you always listen to what "I" wants to do, you'll have more fun and life will have more meaning.
"I" is who you are. "Me" is how you think you are. The two are not the same.
The most important question in life is "Who am I?" not "What do I want to be?"
