Dan Barrett personality type is INFP, which is just to say that I’m an introvert with a little bit of extraverted thinking thrown in.
I have found it best to adopt a structured, yet flexible approach. I have a very structured routine for attending networking events, but I have created a flexible structure to follow when meeting people.
Because of my introverted personality I have learned to limit meeting people to two hours at a time. For me, this is the maximum amount of time I can spend with someone before I must leave or I will start losing track of time.
I have found that by limiting my time to only two hours, it is easier to focus on what I want to achieve during that entire time period.
But, I also understand that each person has their own personality type and their own way of working best. So, there are no hard and fast rules here.
