    INTJ (5w6)

Marxism personality type is INTJ, and the only one with a negative score.

The abovementioned traits, taken together, make for a rather consistent pattern of results. It can be argued that this pattern is due to the following specific features of the NSS personality questionnaire:

    (1) It is a “less perfect” version of the MBTI assessment instrument.

    (2) It is a self-report questionnaire.

    (3) It is an “open-ended” questionnaire.

    (4) The stimulus material is relatively small and homogeneous.

    (5) The survey sample is relatively small.

    (6) The results are not weighted in any way.

    (7) The research sample is not representative of the population of interest.

    (8) The analysis is not statistically sophisticated.

    (9) The results do not provide information about personality types with “avoidant” features.

All of these features make NSS data less valid than those from the MBTI (Gough, 1982). However, it does provide useful data on the personality characteristics of NSS members and it may still be of interest to some researchers.

Marxism is a method of socioeconomic analysis that uses a materialist interpretation of historical development, better known as historical materialism, to understand class relations and social conflict as well as a dialectical perspective to view social transformation. It originates from the works of 19th-century German philosophers Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. As Marxism has developed over time into various branches and schools of thought, there is currently no single definitive Marxist theory. Some Marxist schools of thought place greater emphasis on certain aspects of classical Marxism while rejecting or modifying other aspects. Some schools have sought to combine Marxian concepts and non-Marxian concepts which has then led to contradictory conclusions. It has been argued that there is a movement toward the recognition of historical and dialectical materialism as the fundamental conceptions of all Marxist schools of thought.
