Lights personality type is ENFP, and I'm also a pretty shy person. I don't get to do a lot of public speaking, and it's always been hard for me to get up the nerve to talk to people.
When I was in middle school, one of my teachers told me that he thought I should be a vegetarian. I was surprised, because I had never really thought about going vegetarian before. But at the time, I was going through a growth spurt and my parents were concerned about my weight. So I tried going veggie for a few weeks, and it felt good. At the time, I was a little overweight and thought that going veggie might make me lose weight, but eventually I realized that it made no difference to my weight.
I continued going veggie all through middle school, and I liked it. In high school, though, I went back to eating meat because my friends would bully me if I didn't eat meat. When I went back to eating meat, though, I became a lot more interested in animal rights and veganism. Even though I knew I was not going to be a vegetarian for the rest of my life, I still felt a lot better when I wasn't eating meat.
