A personality type is ESTP, and ESTP is a type of SJ, who is a type of P, who is a type of NT. It's also the same as INTP, and that's why we're just going to leave it at that.
There are lots of ways to look at this, and there are lots of ways to measure it. But the way I like to look at it is, the basic idea is that there's a continuum between the two extremes. At one end, you've got an extrovert, and at the other end you've got an introvert.
Now, I don't believe there's any such thing as an extrovert and an introvert, because there's no such thing as an extrovert or an introvert. That's like saying that there's a "right" and a "wrong" way to think about something. The real world doesn't work like that.
Extroverts and introverts exist, but they're not things. They're not entities. They're not things you can identify with or classify as one or another. They're just different distributions of behavior and cognition along a continuum.
