Heywood personality type is ESTP, and the type that most people would least expect this to be.
I think that personality types can be very useful things. The problem is that they're misapplied and misused by those who have either not read about them or do not know their source. (It's not necessarily a government issue, but it doesn't hurt to be well-informed.) The actual definitions and applications of the Myers-Briggs and other personality systems can be found in primary sources, not websites and textbooks written by the same people who make the same mistakes over and over again.
I believe that personality typing is a valuable tool, and I realize that it can help people understand themselves better. What I don't like is the way that it's used by people to make sweeping generalizations about people, and to seek confirmation of their own prejudices.
For example, I've seen Myers-Briggs personality typing misapplied in four different ways in my own experience.
1) People are often misused in the workplace. The Myers-Briggs system is very popular in the computer industry, because it is used to recruit programmers, but few programmers are actually "INTP".
