Here is what Larisa says about her career:
“My career path was not pre-planned. I’m sure you can relate to this. I did not grow up with a particular plan for my future, and I did not have the ‘perfect’ career goal in mind. Instead, I learned from life and experience. I have always loved psychology, but I also have always had a strong curiosity about other professions and a desire to travel. In retrospect, I was probably born with both of these personality traits. So I started off as a lifeguard in my hometown and then moved to California where I worked as a lifeguard, a movie extra, a swim instructor and live-in maid.
Working as a lifeguard was a great opportunity to learn about myself and the world around me.
