I was born and raised in the Southern United States and lived in Mississippi for my entire life. I have a college degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. I also have worked as a family therapist and business consultant. I have been married for 23 years, have 2 children, 1 step-son and 2 stepsons.
I have been writing since I was fourteen years old. I began writing fiction and poetry when I was a teen and continued to write, publish and perform throughout my 20's and 30's. I have written hundreds of poems and short stories, and have published dozens of poems and short stories in various magazines, anthologies, zines and online publications. I have also written over 100 blog entries for various websites as well as performed in several plays with my husband, John.
I always knew that I wanted to be a writer. I had a vivid imagination and loved to write stories and poems that others could enjoy.
