    INFP (5w4)

Anton Wilhelm Amo personality type is INFP, an Idealist. They are perpetually seeking for meaning in their lives, and they do not like to be told that they are wrong. They are highly logical, but also highly sensitive and empathetic. Because they are highly rational, they can sometimes be seen as cold and detached, but this is just an act. They are kind, caring, and compassionate towards others. They are often misunderstood because of their emotional nature, but they are also misunderstood because of their emotional nature. They are generally optimistic, but this does not mean that they are not prone to depression. They are more likely to fall into it than an ENTJ or INTJ, but they are not immune to it. They are more easily affected by their emotions than other types. However, it is important to note that an INFP will NEVER be depressed unless the situation is extremely dire, or unless they are intentionally making themselves depressed. An INFP will never consciously cause themselves to be depressed.

INFPs have a very strong need for authenticity and spontaneity. They want to live in the moment, and they do not like being told what to do or how to live their lives.

Anton Wilhelm Amo or Anthony William Amo (c. 1703 – c. 1759) was an African philosopher originally from what is now Ghana. Amo was a professor at the universities of Halle and Jena in Germany after studying there. Brought to Germany by the Dutch West India Company in 1707 as a child-slave, and given as a gift to Dukes August Wilhelm and Ludwig Rudolf von Wolfenbüttel, he was treated as a member of the family by their father Anthony Ulrich, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. Amo was the first African-born person known to have attended an European university. Amo is cited in Abbé Grégoire's De la littérature des nègres (1808). In August 2020, in a context of 'decolonization' of place names following the death of George Floyd, the German capital Berlin decided to rename its Mohrenstraße to "Anton-Wilhelm-Amo-Straße" in his honor. On 10 October 2020, Google celebrated him with a Google Doodle.
