Diodorus Cronos, in ancient Greek Διόδωρος Κρόνος / Diódôros Crónos (died around 284 BC), was a Greek philosopher from the Megarian school. He was originally from Iasos, city of Caria (Asia Minor), he had 5 daughters all excellent dialecticians [1] and his father was called Ameinias [2]. Disciple of Apollonius of Cyrene - who, already before him, was nicknamed Cronos and transmitted to him in some way this name [3] -, he was an eminent representative of the erectic dialectic, where he had in particular for adversary the theophrastean Phainias d ' Erèse.
