Ernest René Lesenne (Elbeuf, 8 July 1882 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1 October 1954)[1], was a French philosopher, metaphysician and psychologist, who belonged to the spiritualist current and the philosophy of values. He remains famous for having founded the French characterology. Together with Louis Lavelle, he founded the collection "Philosophie de l'Esprit".
