Jaegwon Kim (born September 12, 1934 in Daegu when Korea was a Japanese province and died November 27, 2019 [1]) is a naturalized American Korean philosopher.
He is more particularly known for his work in philosophy of mind on the limits of theories of psychophysical identity and on the concept of occurrence (or functional dependence). He also worked on the philosophy of action and the philosophy of science.
