Plankton's personality is a combination of cynicism and greed - he is usually very sarcastic and self-centered, and will resort to any means to get what he wants. He is shown to be very condescending towards others, even to the point of breaking people. He is also shown to be capable of being very caring for his friends, but is also willing to use them for his own gain when he needs to. Plankton also has an inferiority complex, as he believes himself to be physically inferior (though this is likely because of his chronic illness).
