Dr. Kirk Langstrom "Man-Bat" personality type is INTP, and I believe that he is a spiritual being. He was a brilliant scientist, who was able to save his mother from the fire that killed her, and later developed the Man-Bat serum that allowed him to transform into a bat.
In "The Human Body," he is seen using the Man-Bat serum which he has been using since his childhood to save his mother from being killed by a fire started by his father. He used the serum to transform into a bat, as to be able to get through the flames and rescue his mother.
After he saved his mother, he developed the Man-Bat serum which he later uses to turn into the Man-Bat, in order to be able to save his mother from her husband, who had become crazy after her death.
Kirk Langstrom's mother died in the fire caused by his father, and this experience left an emotional scar on him as a child. Later he became a genius scientist and created the Man-Bat serum which allowed him to turn into a bat and save his mother from being killed by her husband's craziness.
