Michael “Mike” Hannigan personality type is INFP, which is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types, and I’m sure this came naturally to him. I’m not sure if I’ve ever read a book by him or seen one of his movies (he was apparently in a lot of them) but he was an immensely talented actor and director.
This book is about his personal journey. He was born in the Bronx, New York, and he tells stories about growing up there and going to high school. He describes his experiences in high school and how he felt he had to hide his true self from others, because it wasn’t the “cool” thing to do. He describes how his high school friends thought he was a freak simply because he was really good at math and science, which was a great thing for me, because I’m also a big nerd at math and science. He also describes his experiences with other kinds of people in his school, from the “cool kids” who thought he was weird to the “nerds” who thought he was weird.
The story gets a bit more personal once Mike goes off to college.
