Zenji Marui personality type is INTP, and in the interests of keeping things in order and not having to do a ton of in-depth research, we’ve decided to put this one in the “assigned to it” section for now. With that out of the way, we can get on with the review.
One thing that I really like about this figure is that it wears his uniform from when he was in the service. It’s a great look, and one that I think is really appropriate for a character that’s supposed to be in his late twenties to early thirties. You can see a little bit of his age in the wrinkles around his eyes and the gray hairs around his temples, but it’s a look that works well for him. I find it a nice contrast to how he was portrayed in the anime, where he was always wearing a plain work uniform.
As with most GSC figures, he comes with two expressions: a standard expression and a serious expression. Knowing that the figures only come with two expressions, I was surprised to see that Marui came with three different faces.
