The biography of Aleksandar Ranković [ edit ]
Aleksandar Ranković was born in Kraljevo, Serbia, on 8 April 1873. In 1897 he finished the gymnasium in Novi Sad. In 1899 he became a teacher at a high school in Kragujevac.
In 1904 he moved to Belgrade, where he worked as a teacher in a high school in Obrenovac. He was a member of the Serbian National Radical Party and a supporter of the Monarchy of Serbia. He also took part in the Serbian National Defence Organization.
He was a member of the Serbian Duma from 1914 to 1918. He was one of the founders of the People's Radical Party. He became its leader, but resigned in March 1918 due to differences with the party's other leaders.
He moved to Austria-Hungary after the dissolution of Serbia, where he was appointed as a teacher at the Gymnasium in Vienna.
Elmedin Konaković (born 3 September 1974) is a Bosnian politician, president of the People and Justice party (NiP) and current member of the Federal House of Peoples.
