Solomon Zourabichvili was born in the princely House of Zorda on July 22, 1535. His father was Prince Shalva of Mukhrani and his mother was Princess Tamar of Georgia. In 1546, he was married to Anna, daughter of King Alexander II of Imereti – a marriage alliance with the reigning royal house of Georgia.
Salome Zourabichvili is a French–Georgian politician and former diplomat who currently serves as the 5th President of Georgia, in office since December 2018. She is the first woman to be elected as Georgia's president.
