Once she discovered counseling, her career choice became clear. "I love working with people," she says. "I love helping people work through problems, and I love helping them find solutions. I have a strong desire to help people."
Iyana Domulet was born in the Philippines to parents who were both psychologists. Her mother was a clinical psychologist who had a private practice and a teaching job at a local university, and her father had a private practice and a teaching job at a local university. Although she had a great deal of interest in psychology from an early age, she didn't know what type she was until her early twenties.
