INTP: The Understanding Man
The INTP is typically described as a man of deep thought and creative intelligence with a dry sense of humor. It’s true that the INTP is usually going to be more introverted than the rest of the types, although he is going to be a bit more extroverted than the INTJ. However, the INTP is very creative in their own way, and their introversion can sometimes make them seem a bit standoffish or even aloof.
Like all of the types, the INTPs like to spend time alone and in quiet environments. They enjoy being alone and in silence, and will often avoid being around people when they feel they are not in the mood to talk. They’re often very intelligent people and they understand social cues better than most people, but they may not be able to tell when someone is just being polite and not actually interested in what they want to talk about.
