The character of Donna Troy was introduced in the New Gods comic book series in 1986, and was created by Jack Kirby. She was originally a member of the Justice League of America and later the Star Sapphires and later the Justice League International, and in her early appearances she was a close friend and confidant of Superman. The character has been featured in various media, including television series, animated series, and video games.
Donna Troy is a member of the Star Sapphire Corps, an intergalactic police force, and the daughter of Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons.
In the DC Universe, Donna was an extremely powerful and skilled telepath and telekinetic with a vast knowledge of many sciences. Though she had no superhuman powers, she was a brilliant fighter and master tactician and strategist. Donna had incredible stamina and resilience and was an expert in hand-to-hand combat. She was also a master of technology and engineering, and could repair most anything with little or no power source.
In the New 52 continuity, she is the adopted daughter of Hippolyta and Hercules.
